Breeze The Busy Bee
A Heartwarming Children’s Book Celebrating Bees, Family & Kindness
About the Book
Step into the colorful world of Breeze the Busy Bee—a heartwarming children’s story that celebrates family, kindness, and the incredible honeybees who help our planet bloom.
Inspired by real-life beekeeping and deep family roots, this beautifully written tale follows Breeze, a hardworking honeybee who teaches readers about teamwork, caring for others, and the magic of pollination. Through her adventures, children discover how bees play an essential role in the environment—and how even the smallest creatures can make a big difference.

Created with love by author B’Ann Dittmar, this story was inspired by her son, Chase, who began beekeeping at just 13 years old and turned his passion for bees into an educational agritourism experience near Galena, Illinois. The name “Breeze” honors Chase’s grandmother, whose warmth, generosity, and steady presence continue to inspire the Dittmar family and Dry Creek Beekeeping.

Perfect for children ages 3–8, this book blends education, environmental awareness, and heartfelt storytelling—making it a wonderful addition to classrooms, nature centers, libraries, and home bookshelves. With its gentle message of community and care, Breeze the Busy Bee makes a meaningful gift for young readers, teachers, and families who love stories about nature, kindness, and family connections.
